Collection: Creating Joy at Work: Live Workshop

Apply a creative, joyful lens to the work you do! This workshop will help us explore how to get & keep joy in the workplace.

Why explore joy? Research shows the significant benefits of joy, to our minds and bodies. Through interactive exercises we’ll utilize the power of creative thinking to discover the role of joy in our work experience, helping us shift perspective and see our organizations and ourselves in a new way.

P.S. A joy workshop is just that - joyful and fun! This won't be your standard Zoom meeting. Cameras on, we'll be interacting a lot.

This workshop will include two emails sent the two days prior to the workshop, will suggestions for one thing to consider and one thing to do. After the workshop, you'll receive two emails for two days with prompts to maintain the joy and join us to in a joy celebration event! All in all, you get a week's experience of creating and sharing joy, in a very easy and convenient way.

Facilitators from Creative Spark, a Covia Program:

Jessica McCracken, MPA, brings people together through the creative process. Her career began at the Center for Elders and Youth in the Arts, Institute on Aging in 2007. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Arts Management. With great dedication to collaboration, Jessica co-founded Creative Aging San Francisco, a collective of individuals utilizing the arts to support healthy aging.

Katie Wade, MEd, LPC, is passionate about ensuring we all have access to creative means of connecting with ourselves and others as we grow older. After working as a mental health therapist with older adults in an inpatient setting, Katie maintained a private practice while providing social connection programming and other services to older adults and caregivers, and now nurtures and grows innovative creative aging programs.
